About LRT

Training

 Lindsay earned her MFA in directing at the University of South Carolina and a BFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where she studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (Shakespeare in Performance). Lindsay has held academic appointments at New York University, Duke University, Oklahoma City University, Michigan State, University of Maryland, NC State, University of South Carolina, Coker University, University of Mississippi, University of Alabama Birmingham, the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts, the Southeastern Theatre Conference, and the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Lindsay currently teaches in the Department of Theatre & Dance at Auburn University.

Acting

Lindsay was an Associate Artist for the Aquila Theatre Company in New York City for seven years, where she performed in classical productions on Broadway, off-Broadway, across the country, and abroad. NY theatre credits: New Victory Theater, Lincoln Center Institute, Baruch Performing Arts Center, and the Pearl Theatre. Regional theatre credits include: La Jolla Playhouse, Folger Theatre, Denver Center Theatre Company, Globe Neuss, Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles, Summer Theatre of New Canaan, Trustus Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the Festival of the Aegean in Syros, Greece. Film credits: Stalled, Thanksgiving Dinner, Thinking Out Loud, The Summoning of Everyman, and The Filmmakers. Lindsay is an actor for Kaufmann Forensic Actors, LLC and a proud member of AEA.

Directing

Directing credits include: Steel Magnolias, Much Ado About Nothing (Texas Shakespeare Festival), Violet, Small Mouth Sounds (Auburn University) Into the Breeches!, Romeo and Juliet (University of Mississippi) She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms, Eurydice, The Wolves, Sense and Sensibility, Top Girls, The Bald Soprano, Aphra Behn: Wanton. Wit. Woman (University of South Carolina), Silent Sky (Oklahoma City University, Coker University), and HIR (Trustus Theatre).
